The NUKE Brothers will be a 40-minute short film, set in the Wastelands of Earth thirty five years after a devastating nuclear apocalypse. The tone of the movie can be described as, "Laurel and Hardy After the Bomb." In addition to the film, we will be expanding both the characters of the "Nuke Brothers" and the world they inhabit into all sorts of multi-media on the AFM site--so you can expects lots of comics, artwork, teasers, stories, music, and animations in the days leading up to, and following, the film's release.

Roger Bartlett Score
Roger plays for the rockin' blues band Hell's Kitchen and provided music for the classic horror film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Other credits include playing alongside cult favorites Jimmy Buffett and David Ippolito - That Guitarman from Central Park. Roger is hard at work composing the score for The NUKE Brothers and we hope to have some samples for you soon! In the meantime, check out some of Roger's music at: rogerbartlett.com

CAST
  • James Kloiber, (Zeph) -- Jim has been a staple of New York theatre and has appeared in such productions as Crush, An Archipelago Or Clouds, and Fool For Love. He was featured in the film ...And God Spoke, and is currently the lead role in the upcoming film Liquid Courage by Gypsy Pictures.
  • Marc Nelson (Duke) -- Mark recently appeared in the lead role alongside Amanda Plumber in New York’s off-Broadway success Killer Joe. He currently resides in California, where he is studying family law, and continuing to actively involve himself in theater and film.
  • Heather Carr (The Rogue/The Astronaut) -- Heather studied at Lee Strausberg School of Acting in New York and has since been very active in theatre and film since her debut in the off-Broadway musical The Secret Annex in 1994. Recently she has appeared in Baby with the Bathwater and Wasp at the New Brunswick Cabaret Theatre, the independent film Homemaker 2000, and the lead in Christine off-off-Broadway.
The NUKE Brothers was written by AFM Editor Scott C. Carr and Directed by Blue Moon Movies' J. C. Watson.

Filmed on location in New York's Hudson Valley region. Key locations include Ice Caves Mountain, Bear Cliffs, Shawangunk Mtns "The Gunks", Historic Cragsmoor, Pine Bush (America's most unpopular UFO hotspot), and Bill Brown's Auto Salvage Yard.

The NUKE Brothers is the first of a trilogy of 40-minute shorts which will eventually comprise a feature length production. This first episode is titled "The Pylon." The next episode is tentatively titled, "The Men In the Moon."
